Our client based on the North side is currently looking for an experienced Fitter and Turner. They are searching for an enthusiastic, self motivated person with Australian trade recognised qualifications.
There are a number of positions that are available and successful applicants will need to be enthusiastic, self motivated and committed to work. Initially you will be working as a contractor and then offered a permanent role if you are successful in this role.
There are three shifts that run, so you must be willing to work on an afternoon or evening rostering pattern.

To be successful you will need the following:

• Be a qualified Fitter or Turner or hold equivalent qualifications
• Possess extensive experience in all facets of machining
• Worked in a machine operating role before – Turning, Milling, CNC, Honing & Grinding
• If you have had experience working on mining and/or heavy engineering equipment then would be looked at very highly.
• Be an Australian Permanent Resident
