With an upcoming leave period to be covered within its Finance Team, this household name is looking to secure an Assistant Accountant available through February to April. You will be joining a large corporate entity with a national presence and an excellent reputation.

Reporting to the Financial Accountant this will be a role focused on general ledger maintenance, reconciliations and month end preparation. You will be familiar with processing journals, accruals and prepayments and be confident in completing general ledger and reconciliations. Working to non:negotiable deadlines you will be a very organized person and willing to put in 100. To help make sure youre up to speed quickly, previously experience with Great Plains is HIGHLY DESIRABLE.

CA or CPA studying your greatest point of difference will be your clear communication skills and animated personality. You will have a strong working knowledge of Excel and a large ERP system (ideally Great Plains), good interpersonal skills, and a willingness to learn in a supportive team environment. To be successful you will be able to start no later than the 20th February 2012
