My client is currently seeking a Snr .NET developer based in the CBD of Sydney. This is a full time development position, responsible for the effective and efficient development, implementation and support of mission critical, on-line, real time financial trading, risk management or decision support programs or application systems of medium to high complexity; contributing to deliverance of technology application services to the department's clients to meet their needs.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform programming tasks according to the project plan and functional specifications as part of development team;

Perform unit testing of tasks submitted by him;

Help performing technical research to gain technical knowledge and resolve technical difficulties;

Participate in the design of new systems and component;

Participate in the analysis of new functional requirement and systems;

Participate in the estimation of new features, and components;

Skills:

ASP.NET/.NET 4

WPF

Silverlight 4

Winforms

SQL Server.

The successful candidate will have to have outstanding communication skills as this will be a client facing role.
