Our client, a reputable Queensland based IT Solutions provider, is currently seeking a Technical Lead to join them on a 3 month contract with options to extend.

The Technical Lead will be responsible for the following key responsibilities:

• Fulfil the accountabilities of this role in accordance with internal core values, as outlined above.
• Mentor a small technical team, specialising in a particular technology domain (in this case, Information Modelling).
• Provide advanced expert technical advice and guidance by performing redesign and fit of multiple cross platform systems, applications deployment, systems integration, acceptance testing and applications support.
• Investigate and recommend new information management services and technology initiatives to address customer needs by participating in the review and evaluation of new technologies and IT trends.
• Provide comprehensive monitoring and reporting on projects to ensure effective implementation of project deliverables.
• Maintain an efficient and secure operational environment by consulting, advising and providing system design, product installation and operational support.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

To be successful for this role you will require the following key skill set;

• Demonstrated ability to effectively perform the requirements of the role within an environment of the size and complexity of the internal Program
• Demonstrated ability to participate effectively in a working environment supporting quality human resource management practices including employment equity, anti-discrimination, ethical behaviour and occupational health and safety.
  Ability to create information models for the support of exchange format and implement the developed model to the specific technology.
• Expert ability to analyse IT system issues and successfully implement solutions.
• Ability to develop, implement and ensure compliance to technical policies, standards and procedures at an enterprise level. Knowledge and experience working with a range of Informatics Standards, across clinical and administrative data domains would be well regarded.
• High level interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills.
