With a number of development projects in this large government department we are seeking a Senior Test Analyst to join their Application Development Team. You will be involved in the full testing function across a number of projects, from defining the test strategy through to managing test cases. You will: - Provide expert analysis and consultancy on test plan development, including test strategy, test scenarios and detailed test cases
- Provide performance and capacity management for test environments
- Develop, publish and maintain testing methodologies and standards
- Execute test cases and document results for unit, system and integration testing
- Ensure all business needs documented are adequately tested prior to going into the Production Environment
To be considered for this opportunity you will need: - At least 5 years testing experience including development of test strategy, test plans, test schedule, test cases, etc.
- Have expert skills in at least one test methodology and related tool set
- Proven track record of working within a structured project environment.
- Strong understanding of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Good understanding of Change Management processes and controls
- Good appreciation of IT Risk management processes and controls
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
