Our client a prominent educational establishment located SOR is seeking an I.T. Service Desk Officer to join their team temporarily. The core aim of this position is to provide a customer focused, high service quality for a large range of university customers and all supported ICT services. You will be required to provide first-point-of-contact resolution and support services for all clients via telephone, e-mail, instant messaging and in person. ESSENTIAL - MUST HAVE IT SERVICE DESK EXPERIENCE
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving computer problems
- Good phone manner/ customer service
- Good time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks
- Strong Windows, Microsoft Office and Outlook technical skills
- Stong analytical, diagnostic, problem solving and escalation skills
DESIRABLE - Completion of ITIL training in IT service management
