Our reputable telecommunications client is currently looking for an experience Optimisation Network Engineer to join their team on an initial 6 month contract.  
 
You will be responsible for Design, Integration and Optimisation of GSM and WCDMA Mobile Access Networks in Victoria/TAS.  The successful applicant will be expected to exploit the full range of technical solutions to improve network capacity and performance within technical and business guidelines.
 
Essential Skills and Experience -

• Minimum of 5 years work experience in Mobile networks design and optimisation.
• Sound Analytical Skills of network performance and an understanding of performance counters
• Sound 2G and 3G network optimization skills and understanding of all mobile testing equipment functionalities
• Experience in influencing business decision based upon a sound understanding of RF planning theory and practice
• Sound understanding of radio propagation theory and modelling
• Antenna design and implementation principles
• Cellular Network Theory
• GSM and UMTS Systems
