Our well known ICT unit is seeking a strong Unix Systems Administrator to undertake system support activities in the area of facilitates management.
  
Candidates will demonstrate the ability to administer and maintain complex systems, possess strong documentation skills and demonstrate a proactive approach to ensure risks are identifies and issues are resolved.
  
To this role the ideal candidate will bring:
  
• Unix systems administration;
• DBMS installation and support; Oracle & Ingres

• Strong programming skills in Shell, Perl;
• Web server administration

Producing and maintaining quality systems documentation;
• Provide timely, detailed oral/written advice as required on hardware & security matters;

It would be highly desirable if skills included:

• Informix DBMS
• Tuxedo
• C Programming
