Our client is one of Australia's leading Entertainment companies, who are searching for a Senior Network Architect to be part of one of the most exciting technology teams in the country. They are looking for an innovator who can provide specialist Network Architecture around design & implementation, as well as supporting the core network & infrastructure of the organisations business

The Network Architect will collaborate with portfolio managers, program managers and other architects to support portfolio planning, developing, solution design and technology governance. The Network Architect, in conjunction with other architects, will provide the blueprint architecture for growth and scalability in the organisation.

Key Responsibilities  Accountabilities: 

• Work with Business Technology Managers and Portfolio Managers to collect and translate Business priorities and strategies into Architecture requirements
• Identify and plan Enterprise Architecture initiatives
• Responsible for the long term direction of the Network architecture and the prioritisation and management of new business requirements on the Network
• Technical Network roadmaps are adopted by the Business and Operations to deliver Customer Differentiation and Cost Efficiencies
• Interact with the Service Delivery Management team to ensure that Network solutions are fit for introduction into operations

Qualifications & Experience:

• Accredited tertiary qualifications in a Computer science, or related discipline
• Demonstrated experience in Network (Servers and Storage related), with at least 5 years in systems specifications, design and operation
• Project planning & specification skills, together with strong analytical and complex problem solving skills
• Strong understanding of the IT&T industry and vendor landscape, as well as technology trends and related practices in Network and cloud computing
• Experience in producing technical and business documentation to a high standard
• Self-managed, self-motivated and highly driven
• Strong strategic and tactical technical thinking
