Your New Employer is a global company and a major supplier of electro-mechanical equipment. Significant growth has seen the need for an experience Field Service Engineer who has experience in repairing both mechanical and electrical and who also has experience with IT.
Your responsibilities will include:
Installation, calibration, maintenance and repair of equipment sold and serviced by the company
Providing technical advice and support to the Sales Team
Providing systems and software support software - telephone, in-house and onsite
Promoting the Company s service offers to customers
Preventative maintenance
Installation and configuration of all hardware and software
You will have strong problem solving skills with a lot of experience in maintenance or repairs and troubleshooting/diagnosis. A medium level of competency with Windows is required along with some years experience in a similar role. Experience in working with Medical Equipment will be highly regarded but not a necessity. Trade or TAFE/Degree qualifications are required. Excellent communication and customer skills are essential.
The position will be based in Sydney but there will be some country work (around 1 week every 2 months). There will be a rigorous training period including product familiarisation in Sydney and Melbourne as well as overseas. Excellent remuneration will depend on your experience plus car, laptop etc will be provided.
