Our client is one of the world's largest and vastest providers of technical and engineering services. In Australia, their team is almost one thousand members strong; and has offices across both coasts. They currently require a dynamic, personable, and safety-oriented Site Manager for one of their Melbourne Construction projects.
The main responsibilities of this role will include:
- Providing on-site leadership and guidance for the current multi-scale construction project
- Upholding safety standards and concepts
- Reporting and providing feedback of construction activities to the site workers and sub-contractors
- Ensuring the proper allocation of both materials and manpower
- Overseeing the project's execution plan, including activities related to safety, quality, cost, and schedule
The ideal candidate for this role will have the following experience:
- Ten or more years of experience in similar roles within the industry
- Accredited degree in related industry subjects (Engineering or Construction Management)
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
- Prior training and education relating to building codes and specifications
