Our ClientOur clients are world class engineering and construction management leaders within the resource sector. Due to the magnitude of a current LNG project going on in the West, our clients have joined forces to create a dynamic and powerful joint venture team. An excellent opportunity to establish your career on this exciting project has now become available for a Structural Superintendent. The RoleReporting to the Area Superintendent your duties will include: - Coordinating of the main contractor's site works and raising site instructions.
- Managing contractors progress claims, work hours and handling correspondence.
- Ensuring the works being carried out are in accordance to the projects construction, safety & environmental plans.
- Providing support and mentoring to those reporting to you.
- Liaising with the other divisions and contractors on various site issues and ensuring the Area Superintendent is kept up to date on this information.
- Monitoring the schedule and ensuring the infrastructure works being carried out are on time and to budget.
- Participating in monthly reviews and site meetings.
You Will Have - 10 years + experience in the construction industry with a proven track record of working on major Australian resource projects. (Must have worked directly for an EPCM company).
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Strong leadership and management capabilities.
