Reporting to the Payroll Coordinator, the objective of this role is to undertake payroll processing activities to ensure fortnightly pays are made in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with relevant compliance frameworks. If you are a strong Payroll Officer with experience in the interpretation of Awards and EBA's, read on and apply! Responsibilities of the Payroll Officer include: - End-to-end payroll process - new starts, superannuation, PAYG, payroll tax, termination, workers compensation
- Experience in timesheet coding
- Interpreting industrial awards & EBA's
- Reconcile monthly deduction listings & payments
- Provide pay related advice & assistance employees
- Maintain employee records in accordance with statutory requirements & specific site policies
- Provide routine payroll reports as required
- Ad hoc duties as required
Essential Requirements: - 3+ years experience in payroll processing
- Experience in EBA & award interpretation
- Strong analytical & organisational skills
